David Harris Kolada, Vice President, Corporate and Market Development, Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC)
As Vice President, Corporate and Market Development, David Harris Kolada’s overall function is to support the President and CEO in the development and management of strategic plans and initiatives required to deliver on SDTC mandates. Among other responsibilities, David leads SDTC’s Follow-on Funding program, connecting private sector investors with SDTC portfolio companies to finance their commercialization and growth plans.
David brings nearly 20 years of experience in venture capital, technology company management and investment banking to SDTC. He has held several senior management positions over the course of his career, including those of Senior Director, Strategic Investment at Cognos (now IBM) and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer at Eloqua Corporation. Previously, David gained experience in venture capital investment management at Jefferson Partners, where as a Partner he jointly managed over $200 million of assets. David began his career as an investment banker both on Bay Street and Wall Street, where he developed relationships with world class companies and professionals and a deep understanding of the capital markets.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University.
