Mr. Lam is a partner in the Energy/Cleantech Venture Fund. Before joining BDC in 2003, Larry was an
entrepreneur/founder, gaining over 18 years of operating experience primarily with early-stage semiconductor companies. Prior to joining the E/CT Ventures group, Mr. Lam was an investment director at BDC Venture Capital in the areas of Energy, Environment, Electronics and Materials. And prior to this he was a director in BDC’s Technology Seed Investments group, where he partnered with and helped entrepreneurs realize their vision.
Mr. Lam actively supports and promotes entrepreneurship through his volunteer work in his community. He holds an MBA from Queen’s University and a B.A.Sc. (EE) from the University of Waterloo.
