Colin Mason is of Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. He
took up this position in October 2001, moving from the University of Southampton where he had been a Professor of Economic Geography in the Department of Geography. He has an MA (Hons) in Geography and Economic History from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Geography from the University of Manchester. He has also held a number of short-term visiting positions in universities in Canada, Australia and New Zealand and has also taught for many years on a Masters Masters Degree on Small and Medium Sized Enterprises at the Universidad Nacional General Sarmiento, Argentina.
